Warehousing & storage
SPACE TO GROW.
A PLAN TO MATCH.
Pallet and cubic metre storage connected to your receiving, stock handling and order requirements.

Storage is more than
a volume measurement.
The right setup depends on the way your stock is stored, identified, replenished and dispatched.
A fast-moving product picked every day needs a different conversation from reserve stock held on pallets. Mixed product ranges may need several handling patterns within one warehouse operation.
CSG offers warehousing alongside receiving, stock records, order preparation and returns. Share your product dimensions, weights, stocked SKU list and stock holding pattern so those activities can be scoped together.
Two bases.
Different questions.
| Storage basis | Useful inputs | Confirm in your quote |
|---|---|---|
| Cubic metres (CBM) | Actual cubic metres occupied by each stocked SKU and the age of the inventory. | The daily rates, inventory-age boundaries, any per-SKU minimum and how mixed-age stock is allocated. |
| Pallet storage | Number of standard, oversize and other pallets; dimensions including pallet height; pallet ownership. | Applicable dimensions, storage period, partial-week billing, pallet hire and non-standard handling. |
| Mixed storage needs | Reserve pallets, pick stock, packaging materials and separate handling requirements. | How each part of the stock is allocated and how movement between storage types is charged. |
Receiving information
that helps stock flow.
Identify each planned receipt separately: loose cartons, pallets or a container. Record the distinct SKUs within that delivery, any heavy cartons and the expected receiving work.
A monthly catalogue count is different from the number of SKUs inside a particular receipt. Keeping them separate helps CSG assess identification work and any receiving conditions.
Keep stock information useful.
Agree the product identifiers, stock movements and reports that matter to your team. Discuss replenishment, stock counts, damaged stock and inventory exceptions during setup.
