Ecommerce fulfilment
YOUR BRAND.
EVERY ORDER.
Receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, connected around your products and the customer experience you want to deliver.

Make the order journey
clear from the start.
The work begins before the first customer order. Product data, usable barcodes, incoming delivery information and packing instructions give the warehouse a practical starting point.
CSG supports online order fulfilment from goods receiving through to dispatch preparation. We review your typical basket, sales channels, product characteristics and peak periods to agree how the operation should run.
Fulfilment instructions can cover product identification, packaging selection, branded inserts and the way exceptions are escalated. Dispatch arrangements and carrier services are confirmed separately for your requirements.
The operational detail
Plan each handover.
Agree what good looks like at each stage, including the information needed to handle exceptions.
| Stage | What the workflow covers | What to prepare |
|---|---|---|
| Receive & identify | Check inbound goods against the agreed delivery information and record discrepancies. | A SKU list, carton or pallet counts, barcodes and expected arrival details. |
| Store & maintain stock | Put away stock under the agreed storage model and define replenishment and stock-check needs. | Product dimensions, quantities, rotation rules and any handling requirements. |
| Pick & pack | Pick the required items and apply the order’s agreed packaging and presentation instructions. | Typical baskets, packaging samples or specifications, and channel-specific rules. |
| Prepare for dispatch | Label and prepare parcels for the agreed carrier collection or dispatch workflow. | Destinations, service requirements, cut-off expectations and exception contacts. |
Plan for your normal week.
Then plan for your peak.
Campaigns, launches and seasonal demand can change the mix of orders as well as the number.
Tell us what is likely to change: daily order concentration, items per order, packing steps, stock arrivals or returns. Capacity and operating arrangements should be agreed around that profile.
