Cost & service planner

BUILD THE SCOPE.
UNDERSTAND THE COSTS.

Map your orders, storage and handling requirements. Keep every selected service visible and take the plan into a tailored quote.

Service pricing is confirmed with your quote. This planner keeps every selected service visible. It shows unpriced work as “To be quoted” and never treats it as free. Any freight budget you enter is your own planning figure.
01 / Orders & pricing basis

Select a storage pricing basis, then describe a typical month. You can include or exclude storage below.

Your stocked catalogue, not the SKUs in a single inbound receipt.
Include parcels needing the standard repackaging service.
Item-weight mix

Allocate picked items across the published bands. Percentages must total exactly 100%. The initial selection assumes all picked items are 0–2 kg; change it to reflect your products.

Bands are selected as printed. Raw weight rounding and product acceptance are confirmed with CSG; an unusually heavy product needs a suitability review.

02 / Storage
03 / Inbound receiving

Add each typical receipt separately. Monthly receiving can recur; use one-off only for a setup or stock-transfer delivery.

Up to five receipts. Choose one receiving method per receipt. Additional receiving work is assessed with CSG; the planner does not stack carton, pallet and container charges for the same goods.

04 / Returns & extra services
Returns

Select only the stages required. If the quoted return-label service includes postage, do not include the same postage again in an entered freight budget.

Manual bookings & labour

Manual-booking types are alternatives for the same work. Labour and overtime are not both added to the same hours; overtime conditions require confirmation.

Other services, setup & stock transfer

Only selected services contribute. Standard labels and covering existing labels must describe different work. Use one-off for setup or transfer activities.

05 / Your freight budget

Start with your own volumes. No example is loaded.

Understand the scope

A useful estimate
shows its assumptions.

What is included in the cost per order?
It divides the priced recurring monthly subtotal, including a customer-entered monthly freight allowance if selected, by monthly orders. It excludes one-off costs and unpriced items. At zero orders, cost per order is not applicable.
Why are some services still to be quoted?
Service prices and applicable conditions are confirmed for your operation. Unresolved or unavailable prices remain listed for quotation rather than being treated as zero.
Can I print the inputs and results?
Yes. Print / save estimate PDF produces a summary from the same input and result object shown on screen, including the selected basis, assumptions, exclusions and items requiring quotation.
What happens when I request a quote?
Your service inputs and breakdown are carried to the quote form in the current browser tab after you choose the quote button. No information is sent to CSG until the form is submitted and accepted. You can remove the imported plan before sending.
